We are here to answer all of your questiosn and assist you in every way we can to make using our services and products ths best experience possible. It is our goal to not only meet, but exceed your expectations. We will always strive to advance the quality, content and delivery of our services and products to you, our customers. While our goal is to amke using our services and this site as easy and pain free as possible, it is inevitable that there will be questions and concerns as well as potential complications that may arise. With that in mind, we have attempted to answer some of the more common questions/concerns that come up. If you have a question or concern that is not answered here, we ask that you contact us so that we can assist you. Our number one priority is your satisfaction.
The easiest way to utilize our services is to sign up for the Gold membership. Once you do, you are given access to the entire course catalog for the length of your membership. This allows you to take any or all of the exams at your leisure. Of course, you can always take each exam by becoming a basic member, but the price is significantly more in the long run.
All of our courses are designed around the premise that people do not have the time any longer to read a book or manual and then take a paper and pencil test to receive credit. We feel that by using an audio/video format that is portable (i.e. can be played on an iPod or similar portable player), our customers can learn at their leisure whenand where they choose. This allows you to "study" while you are doing exercise, driving to work, picking up the kids at school, or virtually anywhere else you can listen to an audio. Many of our courses also have reference files that can be used to supplement the audio and be used for future reference in your practice, as well as graphics that enhance understanding of the subject matter. The graphics/video can be viewed on any computer as well as most of the newer portable players (i.e. iPods, Zunes, Zen Player, etc.). This again allows portability and flexibility in the learning process. The days of scheduling time for classes, going to a brick and mortar building to take a class, and arranging your time around a class/school/teacher are rapidly coming to an end. Portability, self scheduling, and on demand classes are the future of education.

The short answer is no. The long answer is we include all the information and references material needed for the exam within the podcast and/or the A/V file (if you download it from here). However, if you would like to purchase a book on the subject for your own reference, you are free to do so. If you wish to do this, please contact us and we will be happy to give you the reference list we use for each exam.
Subscrition to the Emergency Nursing Today Show is the easiest way to receive the course material. If you are a subscriber to the podcast, there is nothing else you have to do prior to tkaing an exam (other than either being a member here or purchasingthe exam). But, you do not have to subscribe to the podcast if you do not wish to. All of the audio and reference materials are available for download from this site also.
Member benefits include the obvious discount on exam prices, but there are other benefits too.
Annual members will receive a monthly newsletter that covers what new courses have been added, the new services and products we will offer, and "insider" news not available to even the podcast subscribers. They will also be elligible for discounts on our other products and services we offer, like the CEN review manual and the archive DVD. Members will also have access to the forum boards where they can discuss the field of nursing in general, share experiences from their careers, and help and support each other as they continue their careers and education. This is a wonderful way to build support for others innursing to take the specialty certifications such as the Certified Emergency Nurse and others. More benefits will be added as they become available, so purchasing the annual membership is the most cost effective way to take advantage of the services and products we offer.
If you wish to purchase a single course, you are free to do so. You must still become a member of the site however. The reason for this is that the audio and PDF files are considered "enhanced" materials and are avilable for paying members only. If you are worried about giving out this information, please read through our privacy statement page and you will see that we will not ever use your personal information for anything except internal tracking and QA. Information about your payment is covered in the privacy agreement also.
